Depilex Institute is the only Institute offering the City & Guilds Assured Programme in Pakistan. Professional Programme in Hair, Beauty and Skin Aesthetics

Our Professional Programme is being offered under the City & Guilds Assured Programme. It has been designed keeping in view the market need and making the human resource employable. It is a 3 months programme that provides holistic training and career guidance in all areas i.e., cut, colour, styling, makeup, body therapy, skin and hair treatments. The aim is to make you a professional beautician and hairdresser.

With this Programme, individuals attain the expertise to work as salon managers, makeup artists, beauty therapists, cosmetologists, skin experts and hairstylists in salons, spas, wellness centres and cosmetic brands.

Assistant Programme in Hair, Beauty and Skin Aesthetics

This is a Foundation Programme for individuals who want to enter the Hair & Beauty industry. This one-month programme gives practical knowledge on the topics of hairstyling, beginners makeup, skin and body treatments. You will be given hands-on training with practice sessions to ensure you gain the skill set required to begin your career.

With this Programme, individuals attain the skills to work at an assistant level in the salons with stylists, makeup artists, beauty therapists and skin experts. It will open doors towards a career in the field of Hair & Beauty.

Admissions Policy

1. The Institute does not discriminate on the basis of gender, age (except the 16 year old minimum age for applying), race, color, ethnic or national origin, or religion in its’ admission and other practice, policies or procedures.
2. The Institute enrolls new students monthly.
3. The Head of the Institute will review all applications on an individual basis and admit students who meet all the admission requirements.  Exceptions to the admission policies will be documented and included in the student record if any.
4. The Institute reserves the rights of admission / suspension and expulsion.
5. All applicants have to submit the filled signed application form along with their one colored passport size picture.
6. The students will be provided with all the institute’s policies pertaining to them. The students have to review the policies and sign them.
7. All the programmes require toolkits which students have to arrange or purchase from Depilex Institute over and above the admission fee.
8. For the hair colour section programme, the students will be buying the colour as per the model requirement on the day.
9. The student will be responsible to arrange the models for themselves. However, if they cannot, the institute may assist.
10. All the study material provided to the students must not be used for further education.
11. No tolerance policy for any misconduct / malpractice reported or noted. In such a case it will lead to disqualification.

Applicants Enrolled Under a Training Agreement with International / Local / Government Agencies

1. If enrolled under a training agreement with a government agency and/or other entity, the applicant is required to meet the admission requirements set out in the training agreement, the Institute, and applicable state licensing or certification regulations.
2. The Institute maintains documents for students who are enrolled under a training agreement with another entity.

Payment Policy

1. We offer the installment plan for all the programmes which are of more than 4 weeks. The details can be provided upon request.
2. The admission fee is due before the commencement of classes.
3. The admission fee is non-refundable and non-adjustable.

Admissions Procedure

1. All applicants have to submit the filled signed application form along with their one colored passport size picture.
2. The students will be provided with all the institute’s policies pertaining to the students. The students have to review the policies and sign them off.
3. All applicants are required to show legal identification documents i.e. to provide a copy of his/her ID card / B-Form or passport copy.
4. Pre-requisites for Admissions at different levels:

• Self-Grooming – Basic reading and writing skills in English. English Evaluation Test will be taken if not done before.
• Assistant Programme– Basic reading and writing skills in English. English Evaluation Test will be taken if not done before.
• Professional Programme– Good reading and writing skills in English. English Evaluation Test will be taken if not done before.
• Advanced Programme
  • Good reading and writing skills in English. English Evaluation Test will be taken if not done before.
  • Either Proof of successful completion of Depilex Professional Programme or Proof of City&Guilds Level 2 Diploma.
• Short Programme
  • Good reading and writing skills in English. English Evaluation Test will be taken if not done before.
  • Proof of Managerial Job / Entrepreneurship
